Recently Year 12 student and College Captain, Riley Williamson, competed in the Sunshine Coast heat of the Rostrum Voice of Youth Competition held at Immanuel Lutheran College. In the midst of five other students from schools around the coast, Riley gave an outstanding speech on one of his favourite topics, ‘Good Government’. Riley delivered a knowledgeable, poised and passionate speech and was rewarded with the position of ‘runner-up’. A fantastic effort! Several parents of other competitors congratulated Riley on the quality of his presentation after the competition. Riley now has his sights set on the Quota Student of the Year Competition coming up in June.
