Recollections – 50 years of loving Landsborough

Loving Landsborough Day

Families are invited to attend a whole-of-community event in Landsborough on Saturday 19 August from 9am until 5pm at a number of venues across town.

Loving Landsborough Day is designed to provide an insight into Landsborough and its history through kids activities; gold coin donation to visit the Landsborough Museum; 1960s themed High Tea with a Twist at the Hall; buskers; Landsborough State School Art exhibition at the 7th Day Adventist Church; markets; beanie and tea cosy competition; vintage ambulance; vintage cars and more.

Come dressed in the theme ‘1967’ to win a prize.

There will be a sausage sizzle run by the Landsborough State School P&C, buy a takeaway at a local store or bring a picnic to enjoy in the war memorial park.

Catch a train to Landsborough to save parking issues.

Supported by Sunshine Coast Council 50th Anniversary of the naming of the Sunshine Coast small grant.
