Mental health and wellbeing workshops for students

Educators and parents, with the best intentions, find themselves protecting students and children from fully experiencing disappointments and setbacks which limits their ability to build resilience and become more independent. Hence, never before have we experienced a time when the mental health and wellbeing of students was so critical. Students need knowledge together with practical skills to be able to navigate the challenges that life presents.  Thus, leaving them feeling empowered to take ownership of their thoughts, feelings and actions which will set them on the path that they choose.

THE RESILIENCE REVOLUTION is delighted to continue supporting the mental health and wellbeing of students in 2020 by offering the following workshop at KAWANA FAMILY CENTRE on 22 and 23 February:

  • Taming Tricky Feelings: A practical workshop for children 5-7 years
  • Taking Control of Anxiety: A practical workshop for children 8-12 years
  • Navigating Life’s Challenges: An empowering workshop for teen girls 13-18 years
  • Navigating Life’s Challenges: A motivational workshop for teen boys 13-18 years

Posters below have further details about each workshop.

Each workshop is followed by a free parent and carer information session.

The purpose of this session is to share with parents and carers an overview of the workshop and key strategies taught so that they are able to support their children to continue to put into practice what they have learnt at the workshop.
