Contract Upper Primary Teacher

Glasshouse Christian College welcomes applications for a contract Primary Teaching position to replace a staff member on maternity leave.

The position is to teach upper primary and the contract is for the whole of 2019.

Cleaners Wanted

Part-time Cleaner/Labourer (in charge of Waste Disposal)

Glasshouse Christian College is looking for a permanent part-time cleaner/labourer to join its dynamic cleaning team, taking responsibility for the emptying of all College bins daily (including wheelie bins) and contributing to the College’s recycling program.

The position is for an immediate start and the hours shall be 3:00pm to 7:00pm each week day (20 hours per week) with more flexible hours available during school holidays.

Relief Cleaners

Glasshouse Christian College is also looking for relief cleaners to work during times of high demand and to replace our part-time cleaners during their absences.

Relief Crossing Guard – Casual

A casual position exists for a Casual School Crossing Supervisor at Glasshouse Christian College, you may also need to relieve at other schools.

The School Crossing Supervisor may be required to work five days per week in all weather conditions. The hours of work for School Crossing Supervisors are normally 1.5 hours a day and usually comprise of one hour in the morning and ½ hour in the afternoon.

The successful applicant is dependent on:

  • The favourable outcome of a health assessment carried out by a Government Medical Officer or a duly qualified Medical Practitioner according to the guidelines in the “Notes for Medical Practitioner” on the School Crossing Supervisor Scheme – Health Assessment Form; and
  • A Positive Notice Blue Card (This means you do not need to have a blue card to apply for the position)

Applicants are required to advise in writing of any charges that have been laid against them or any offence of which they have been convicted of.
