Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Competition P-12

The Dorothea Mackellar Memorial Society has chosen the theme “We Used to Live There” for this year’s poetry competition. Students across Primary and Secondary are invited to prepare an entry. As always, it’s an optional theme, so students can write about whatever topic sparks their poetic genius. For further details go to the Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards website. Entries close on 30 June. For a copy of the wonderful theme poster, please click here.
