Bus Coverage

Glasshouse Christian College and its bus services offers extensive bus coverage for students who live close to the College, as well as those students from Caboolture, D’Aguilar, Wamuran, Elimbah, Peachester, Mooloolah, Glass House Mountains, Maleny, Landsborough, Beerburrum, Palmwoods, Caloundra, Wurtulla, Mountain Creek, Aura and surrounding suburbs.

  • Glasshouse Country Coaches
    For information on Peachester, Caboolture, and Maleny bus runs and fares, please contact them on 5496 9249 or visit their website.
    (Flood Policy: Glasshouse Country Coaches have advised GCC that due to Workplace Health and Safety regulations, it will cancel buses when there is flooding over roads and safety concerns for the students. This directive was taken from the Queensland Government campaign, ‘if it is flooded, forget it’. GCC will send a text to all families as soon as the information comes to hand).

Driving your Children to College

If you drive your children to the College, you may be eligible for government assistance amounting to hundreds of dollars each year from the School Transport Assistance Scheme. Please visit their website for further information. (Please note that this program is entirely separate from the College and families must investigate their own eligibility and apply for themselves).

Non-State Schools Transport Assistance Scheme (NSSTAS)

If your children travel to the College by bus, you may be eligible for bus fare assistance from the government. Student travel rebate applications are only open in May for Semester 1 and October for Semester 2 each year. To find out more, please visit their website.

Code of Conduct

Please ensure your child is aware of the Code of Conduct requirements for travelling on school buses. We expect our students to conduct themselves in an exemplary manner while travelling on any bus.

Bus Services Complaints Management

Under the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Standard 2010, Queensland Transport expects the College to:
a) Keep a record of complaints made about any of the bus services;
b) Promptly investigate any complaints; and
c) Record any actions taken in response to complaints.
In order to comply with the above requirement, the College provides this Bus User Complaints form for users of the bus services to raise complaints, issues or concerns that they may have about any of the services. Complainants will be advised of the outcome of any investigation into complaints made and actions taken to address those complaints. Please note that all complaints must be made on the form (rather than by merely phoning the College) and be submitted to:
